After a jury trial the defendant, Matthew Foley, was found guilty of predatory criminal sexual assault (720 ILCS 5/12-14.1(a)(2)(A) (West 1996)), residential burglary (720 ILCS 5/19-3 (West 1996)), and home invasion (720 ILCS 5/12-11 (West 1996)). The defendant was sentenced to 25 years' imprisonment on the sexual assault count and consecutive 10 year sentences for residential burglary and home invasion to run concurrently...
