Plaintiffs, Clavern Adams, Cleveland Joiner and Christopher Lee, sued Brent Trahan, the driver of an eighteen-wheeler, after being struck by Trahan. Also sued was Blake Fontenot, d/b/a Blake's Trucking, the owner of the eighteen-wheeler, and Canal Indemnity Company, his liability insurer.
