Clint William Jones ("Jones") was tried and convicted by a jury of attempted carjacking, La. R.S. 14:27 and 14:64.2. Jones was subsequently adjudicated a third felony habitual offender and sentenced to life imprisonment without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence.
