Michael Dewayne Turner was convicted of trafficking marijuana and failure to affix the appropriate tax stamps. Turner appealed his conviction to the Court of Criminal Appeals, where he contended, in pertinent part, that the trial court erred in denying his motion to suppress the search warrant because there was no legal basis for a search.
