Daniel Dixon pleaded guilty to a charge of robbery in the first degree, a violation of § 13A-8-41, and to a charge of burglary in the first degree, a violation of § 13A-7-5. The circuit court entered judgments of conviction and, applying the Habitual Felony Offender Act, enhanced Dixon's sentences and sentenced him to two consecutive terms of life imprisonment.
