The defendant, Ruffin Moye, was charged on December 3, 1997, by bill of information with two counts of attempted second degree murder. He pled not guilty to both counts. On March 10, 1998, the defendant was tried by a twelve-member jury. He was found guilty as charged on Count 1 and guilty of attempted manslaughter on Count 2.
