Following a protracted trial, defendant was acquitted of two counts of aggravated sexual assault (N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(1) and (3)), but was convicted of second degree aggravated assault (N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1b(1)), first degree kidnaping (N.J.S.A. 2C:13-1b), and fourth degree endangering the welfare of a child (N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a).
