¶ 1. During the October term of 1998, Percy Robinson was indicted by the Amite County grand jury for burglary of a dwelling. Following pre-trial motions, a jury trial was held on February 26, 1999. At the conclusion of one day trial, the jury returned a guilty verdict on the charge of burglary of a dwelling. The Honorable Forrest A. Johnson, Jr., sentenced Robinson to a term of twenty-five years in the custody of the Mississippi Department...
