In this case, the jury returned a verdict for plaintiff on her defamation claim for damages. The trial court, however, granted defendant's 1 motion for a judgment notwithstanding the verdict (jnov). ORCP 63. Plaintiff appeals. On appeal, a jnov must be set aside if there is any evidence in the record to support the jury's verdict. King v. All Pro Services, Inc., 120 Or.App. 479
