¶ 1. In March 1995, Jerry Lynn Doss was convicted of the sale of cocaine in the Jefferson County Circuit Court. He was sentenced to serve a term of thirty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Aggrieved by the conviction and sentence, Doss appealed.
