Appellant, David E. Beckham, was indicted for the felony offense of aggravated sexual assault of a child. Over his plea of not guilty, a jury found him guilty as charged and sentenced him to serve ten years' confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division and to pay a $10,000.00 fine.
