Defendant, Dennis Ulmer (a/k/a Danny Taylor), appeals his sentence in his conviction for theft, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:67.10. On appeal, Ulmer argues that his sentence was constitutionally excessive, and that the trial judge failed to articulate the reasons for the sentence.
