Shirley A. Jenkins and Richard M. Jenkins were married in September 1964. In December 1997, the wife sued for a divorce. After receiving ore tenus evidence, the trial court entered a judgment that divorced the parties, divided their marital property, and awarded alimony to the wife. Both parties filed postjudgment motions, and the trial court amended its judgment. The wife appealed, arguing that the trial court erred in its property division and alimony...
