STEWART, J.

The defendant, Elbert Williams, was tried by jury and convicted of one count of second degree murder and two counts of armed robbery in violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1(A)(2) and La. R.S. 14:64. He was sentenced to life imprisonment for second degree murder, and two 50-year imprisonment sentences for the two armed robbery convictions. All three sentences were imposed without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence, and were ordered to run concurrently...
