Following a jury trial, the defendant, David Carl Thompson, was convicted of second-degree murder and received the mandatory sentence of life imprisonment without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. Thompson challenges the sufficiency of the evidence, the admission of four incriminating statements made to the police, and the admission of certain photographs of the victim at trial.
