Brookwood Medical Center appeals from a judgment entered on a jury verdict in favor of the plaintiff Woodie Lindstrom. We reverse and remand.

On June 13, 1995, Woodie Lindstrom, then age 77, was admitted to the hospital operated by Brookwood Medical Center ("Brookwood") for observation in connection with a "heart flutter."
