Defendant, Mark Morris, was indicted by the East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:95.1; four counts of armed robbery, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:64; aggravated kidnapping, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:44; and second degree murder, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1.2 He was tried by a jury, which convicted him as charged on all counts.
