OPINION

NEWMAN, Justice.

This is an appeal from the denial of the second petition of Alan Pursell (Appellant) for post conviction relief. Because Appellant's petition was untimely filed, we affirm.

On January 26, 1982, a jury sentenced Appellant to death for the murder of a young boy in Lawrence Park Township. On direct appeal, this Court affirmed Appellant's death sentence. Commonwealth v. Pursell, 508 Pa. 212
