On April 21, 1997, the plaintiffs, Tanya Shepard Watson, Lawrence Shepard and Deborah Shepard filed suit against the defendant Regional Transit Authority ("RTA") for personal injuries allegedly sustained by plaintiffs as passengers of an RTA bus on April 26, 1996.
