Derick Brown appeals the denial of his Rule 32, Ala.R.Crim.P., petition for postconviction relief. On October 13, 1998, Brown pleaded guilty to one count of attempted murder and one count of robbery in the first degree, violations of §§ 13A-4-2 and 13A-8-41, Ala.Code 1975.
