Convicted of DWI, 4th offense in violation of La. R.S. 14:98, Ananias Sudds appealed his conviction and sentence of ten years at hard labor with two years to be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. In addition to asserting the excessiveness of his sentence, defendant complained that his conviction was based upon insufficient evidence. Sudds also assigned as errors the trial court's denials of his motion for reconsideration...
