¶ 1. Larry Darnell Jones was charged with a two count indictment. The first count of the indictment charged Jones with capital rape, and the second count charged him with the touching of a child for lustful purposes. Jones was only convicted for the second count of touching a child for lustful purposes. Jones filed a timely appeal from his conviction and asserted the following three issues: (1) whether the verdict is contrary to the law...
