Defendant was charged by amended bill of information with one count of sexual battery, a violation of La. R.S. 14:43.1, and one count of oral sexual battery, a violation of La. R.S. 14:43.3. On April 14, 1999, the defendant pled guilty as charged. The trial court then adjudicated the defendant a fourth felony offender and sentenced the defendant as a fourth felony offender on the sexual battery conviction to life imprisonment at hard labor and on the oral...
