FLAHERTY, Chief Justice.

This is a direct appeal of appellant's 1996 conviction of criminal homicide, robbery, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and theft by unlawful taking or disposition. The jury returned a sentence of death. On April 8, 1996, the court sentenced appellant to death on the homicide conviction, and three consecutive sentences of ten to twenty...
