On October 1, 1998, the Grand Jury of Lincoln County, Mississippi returned an indictment of murder against McGee. A subsequent trial was held in the Circuit Court of Lincoln County, Mississippi, the Honorable Mike Smith presiding. On February 18, 1999, the jury returned a verdict of guilty and McGee was sentenced to serve a term...
