Defendant, Keith V. Hasprey, was convicted in the circuit court of Logan County of reckless driving. The appellate court affirmed his conviction and sentence (308 Ill.App.3d 841, 242 Ill.Dec. 213, 721 N.E.2d 181), and we granted leave to appeal (177 Ill.2d R. 315).
