On May 20, 1998, the Grand Jury for the Western District of Oklahoma indicted defendant Nouhad Rached "Nick" El-Hajjaoui ("El-Hajjaoui") and four others, Randa Saffo, Suhail Saffo, Richard Kevin Day, and Mohammed Abdul Majid, in a twenty-nine count indictment. The charges stemmed from an elaborate conspiracy of possessing and distributing pseudoephedrine in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(d)(2), and engaging in money laundering transactions...
