Defendant, Johnnie Wright, was the owner of J & J Scrap Auto Wrecking Company, an auto parts recycling business. On January 25, 1996, auditors from the Secretary of State's office arrived at defendant's business, reviewed documents in his business office, and took an inventory of the vehicles in the lot surrounding the office.
