The plaintiffs, Larry and Linda Livas, brought this suit individually and on behalf of their minor daughter, Quanita K. Livas (Quanita), to recover for damages they sustained in a two-vehicle accident which occurred in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, on June 5, 1996. The defendants in the suit include Nikki A. Buquet, the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident; State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. (State Farm), Ms. Buquet's liability...
