Willie Baker was convicted of robbery in the first degree, a violation of § 13A-8-41(a)(1), Ala.Code 1975, and was sentenced to 25 years' imprisonment. Baker filed a motion for a new trial on the principal ground that the trial court improperly admitted, in violation of Rule 404(b), Ala. R.
