CANNELLA, Judge.

Defendant, City of Gramercy (Gramercy), appeals from a judgment in favor of plaintiff, Lettie Richardson, assessing damages at $55,415 and apportioning fault against defendant at 40% and against plaintiff at 60%. For the reasons which follow, we affirm.
