George H. Ponsell, Jr. was indicted by grand jury and convicted of two counts of Aggravated Incest in violation of La. R.S. 14:78.1. Following his adjudication as a Third Felony Habitual Offender, the trial court sentenced him to life imprisonment without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence. Defendant appealed, alleging the insufficiency of the evidence utilized to convict him on the aggravated incest offenses as well as to adjudicate...
