Defendant-Appellant Joseph P. Zanghi, Jr., pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud the United States, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371. After granting the government's motion for downward departure, the court sentenced Zanghi to six months' imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, the first six months of which were to be in home detention.
