Defendant, David Stephenson, was convicted by a jury of illegal use of a weapon during a crime of violence, a violation of La. R.S. 14:94(A) and (F). The trial court sentenced Defendant to the mandatory minimum term of ten years imprisonment at hard labor, without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
