James Frazier (Frazier) sued his former employer, Iowa Beef Processors, Inc. (IBP) alleging a discharge in violation of the Family and Medical Leave Act, 29 U.S.C. §§ 2601 et seq. (FMLA). Frazier also alleged retaliatory discharge in violation of public policy under Iowa law.
