Defendant was indicted on 10 February 1997 for first degree murder and first degree burglary. The victim was defendant's grandmother, who was "sickly and weak" and "didn't put up a fight" according to defendant's girlfriend, Rebecca Ann DeLouise (DeLouise), who was present during the crimes.
