SNELL, Justice.

Plaintiff, Lynn Kloster, appeals the district court decision to deny his motion for a new trial. Defendant, Hormel Foods Corporation, cross-appeals on the ground the trial court did not have authority to hear a claim for tortious interference with medical care. The cross-appeal is sustained, the verdict is vacated, and the case is remanded for dismissal.
