SMITH, J.

The defendant, Darryell Drumgoole, was charged in the District Court with two counts of threatening to commit a crime and five counts of intimidating witnesses, namely Christopher Jordan and Reginald Altman. After a jury trial, the defendant was convicted of both counts of threatening to commit a crime and three counts of intimidating witnesses.
