¶ 1 After a jury trial, petitioner Barry Ellsworth French was convicted of kidnapping, sexual abuse, sexual assault, and attempted sexual assault, with a prior felony conviction. He was sentenced to prison terms of twenty-one years, fifteen years, and four years, all terms to be served consecutively.
