On January 8, 1998, the defendant, Michael Duncan, was indicted for the second degree murder of Lucille Diane Heim. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty at his arraignment on January 13, 1998. On the same date, the defendant filed discovery and suppression motions. A motion hearing was held on March 20, 1998.
