Defendant/appellant, Larry Brent, appeals his conviction and sentence for attempted possession of heroin. Following the guilty verdict, the State filed a multiple bill of information and a hearing was subsequently held. While the trial court took the matter under advisement, Brent was then sentenced to two years at hard labor without benefit of probation or suspension of sentence.
