BMC Software Belgium, N.V., appeals from the trial court's interlocutory order denying its special appearance contesting personal jurisdiction. See Tex.Civ.Prac. & Rem.Code Ann. § 51.014(a)(7) (Vernon Supp.2000). BMC Belgium's contractor/employee Marchand, claims he was unlawfully denied stock options in the parent company, BMC Software, Inc., of Houston.
