BEEZER, Circuit Judge:

Jose Luis Flores-Garcia appeals his conviction for assisting an inadmissible alien felon to enter the United States in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1327. Flores-Garcia was convicted after the district court held that Flores-Garcia's knowledge of the assisted alien's prior felony conviction was not an element of section 1327.
