Elmer Ritter, a field maintenance worker at Hill'N Dale Farm (HND), filed suit under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 621-634, against HND1 after his employment ended2 when he was 71. In granting summary judgment for HND, the district court found that Ritter narrowly made out a prima facie case of discrimination...
