This case is before this Court upon appeal of a final order of the Circuit Court of Berkeley County entered on February 10, 1999. Pursuant to that order, the appellant and defendant below, Banner Cornel Catlett, was sentenced to life in prison without mercy upon a jury verdict of guilty of first degree murder.
