COOPER, Justice.

Following a trial by jury in the Campbell Circuit Court, Appellant Mark Johnson was convicted of arson in the first degree. He waived the sentencing phase of the trial and was subsequently sentenced to twenty years in prison. He appeals to this Court as a matter of right. Ky. Const. § 110(2)(b). We have determined that the appeal was prematurely filed and must be remanded for a ruling on Appellant's post-trial motions and for an evidentiary hearing...
