During a period of more than five years, Walton Electric Membership Corporation ("Walton") mistakenly underbilled Brown, its customer, for electricity. Walton sued Brown for the correct billing amount, and Brown raised accord and satisfaction, equitable estoppel, and statute of limitation defenses.
