Edgar Dennis III pleaded guilty to three counts of third degree assault for allegedly assaulting Seattle Police Officers Zsolt Dornay, Aaron Libby, and another officer. At the restitution hearing, the State established the required causal connection between Officer Dornay's injuries and Dennis's assault, but failed to establish a causal connection between Officer Libby's injuries and Dennis's assault.
