On October 19, 1993, plaintiff was involved in a two-car accident on Wolf Road in the Town of Colonie, Albany County, when her vehicle was struck by a vehicle owned by defendant Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation and operated by defendant Scott Gould (hereinafter collectively referred to as defendants). As a result, plaintiff commenced this negligence action against defendants.*
