On April 4, 2000, a divided panel of this Court reversed and remanded the trial court's dismissal of Michael A. Mahoney's appeal from a judgment of the juvenile and domestic relations district court. We granted appellee's petition for a rehearing en banc and stayed the mandate of that decision.
